This menu-selection allows the radio-user to enter the radio's FPP (Front Panel Programming) mode. FPP allows the radio-user to modify Conventional communications channel parameters without using the CPS. See Also: Protected Zone and Protected Zone Password.

The FCC requires that either an FPP Dongle or a cloning cable be attached to the radio in order for the radio-user to access this feature. This is true unless you are exempt from FCC compliance. |
